Practice schedule changes.
It’s been 2 years since our portion of the Dolphins Swim Club have been able to practice at our Selkirk Pool. The pool will be opening for programming beginning the week of April 4. At this time a portion of the Team will return to the Selkirk Community Pool location for practices.
In order for all swimmers to continue to get consistant great coaching, practices have been reschedule and the schedule will be implemented beginning April 4, 2022. This schedule adjustment may impact a small handful of the team members.
Practices as of April 4th 2022
Cindy Klassen Pool Monday 5:00-8:00 pm Friday 5:00-6:30pm , (Saturday 8:30-10:00am -beginning April 30)
Selkirk Community Pool Tuesday 6:00-8:30 Dryland/pool, Wednesday/Thursday 5:30-7:00pm, (Saturday 7:30-9:00am beginning April 23).
April 23rd the Dolphins will host a Racing League competition for the new swimmers in the province. We encourage all Dolphins Team members to either compete (if they are first year swimmers) or volunteer.
Man Sask Championships
Congratulations Cate L for amazing racing at ManSask Championships March 17 – 20, 2022 Pan Am Pool,.
Stats: 7 events, 5 finals, 2 alternate placing finals. 100 % personal Best times. Top placing 5th in 100 fly 1:27….
Firsts: Long Course Pool, ManSask Championships, 100 Butterfly.
Provincials Small Club Award
Congratulations to the Dolphins Team. We had 90 % personal best times. Cate qualified for Man Sask Championships in 6 events and will be competing March 17 – 20 at Pan Am Pool. Medal winners Ian 1 Gold, 2 Bronze, Cate 2 Gold, 1 Silver, 2 Bronze, and our 13/14 year old mixed free relay (Cate, Alexis, Brodie, and Ariel) won Bronze.

COVID training update
This is no longer required.
On Monday, December 6th, all athletes 12 -17 will need to have proof of 1 COVID Pfizer/Moderna vaccination OR proof of negative COVID Antigen Rapid Test Result within 72 hours of entry, in order to enter facilities for practice and competition. They will need to provide proof listed above, with ID, upon entry of the facilities. We understand this may cause some issues or concerns for families.
